Daino Reale is quarried from a bedrock quarry in Sardinia, Italy. This marble's qualities appear much like those of a vein-cut travertine, but without the natural pits. It was formed at the bottom of a shallow sea and sediments from a river built up over millions of years to create the exceptional layered structure.
